State Rep. Camille Y. Lilly, D-Chicago, released the following statement following the passing of Reverend Jesse Jackson on Tuesday:

The Center for Effective Lawmaking has released its 2023–2024 SLES scores, ranking lawmakers on how effectively they move legislation through the process. With the average score at 1.0, Rep. Lilly earned an impressive 1.969, placing her #6 among Illinois legislators.

After a packed week of negotiations, the Illinois General Assembly concluded its 2025 Fall Veto Session in the early hours of October 31. Lawmakers reached agreements on a range of major issues that will impact Illinois families, workers, and communities.
